The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) is one of more than 170 health care organizations supporting a new national study by the American Medical Association (AMA) that will collect representative data on physician practice expenses.

On the afternoon of July 13th, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released its calendar year 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS). Yet again, CMS has proposed cutting payments to physicians who treat Medicare patients. If finalized as proposed and without Congressional intervention, the MPFS conversion factor would decrease by almost 3.4%.
