The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) offers international physicians the opportunity to apply for membership. Members receive access to a variety of online educational programs, a private members-only forum, and other exclusive member benefits. ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship

2025 Scholarship Application—Apply Now

The ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship is awarded to surgeons specifically working in breast cancer surgery to improve the quality of breast cancer surgical services. The scholarship, for $5,000, provides an opportunity to attend the ASBrS Annual Meeting, April 30–May 4, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, and an invitation to visit the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Preference is given to applicants from developing nations. Additional information, including the full list of eligibility requirements and the application itself, is available on the ACS website. Application Deadline: August 31, 2024.

2024 Scholarship Recipient

Lubna Vohra

Congratulations to our 2024 ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship Award recipient, Lubna Vohra, MD, of Pakistan. She attended our 25th Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, and had the opportunity to meet and network with fellow members. Dr. Vohra also visited NAPBC in Chicago, IL, to learn about the standards for a breast cancer program/database and the importance of multidisciplinary breast cancer care.
