Course Description:
This program is designed for advanced practice providers working in breast surgery as well as any advanced practice providers who are interested in expanding their knowledge on breast care. The lectures will provide information on relevant topics for those managing patients, including genetics, neoadjuvant therapies, adjuvant therapies, and survivorship.
Criteria for Participation:
This course is intended for ASBrS Affiliate Members. Nonmember advanced practice providers may contact registration@breastsurgeons.org to request access.
Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Discuss key concepts related to midpoint neoadjuvant treatment checks
- Develop an understanding of post operative complications and management strategies
- Review landmark clinical trials and discuss strategies to introduce new clinical trials to patients
- Implement tools and resources for survivorship care
- Learn about billing and coding for APPs
