Judy C. Boughey, MD, FACS, Installed as the Society's 27th President
Judy C. Boughey, MD, FACS, of Minnesota began her term as the Society’s 27th President on April 12, 2024. The official transition of leadership from Dr. Susan K. Boolbol to Dr. Boughey took place at the Society’s business meeting held in conjunction with the Society’s 25th Annual Meeting in Orlando.
Input Needed on Oncolactation Resource Guide
The ASBrS is developing a new resource guide on Oncolactation. ASBrS posts drafts of consensus statements, resource guides, clinical pathways, and other documents for public comment before they are finalized and sent to the Board of Directors for final approval.
Tips for Reporting your ASBrS CME to ABS
The American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) have collaborated to allow for electronic reporting of American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) learner completion data (CME and Self-Assessment credits) to the ABS, simplifying the CME credit reporting requirement for the ABS Continuous Certification Program. To ensure all ABS Diplomates can successfully report their ASBrS CME and Self-Assessment credits to ABS, we'd like to share a couple tips.
