Target Audience:
Surgeons with a special interest in the treatment of breast disease
Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Independently plan basic oncoplastic approaches to surgery to further improve end cosmetic results.
- Incorporate surgical techniques that allow for excellent oncological results without hindering cosmetic results and possibly improving cosmesis.
- Identify indications for immediate and early oncoplastic reconstruction of partial mastectomy defects.
- Understand the implications on adjuvant therapy.
Description:
This webinar will highlight how to plan oncoplastic approaches to surgery and discuss surgical techniques that allow for excellent oncological results without hindering cosmesis. There will be a special focus with regards to billing and patient reported outcomes in oncoplastic surgery.
