Course Description:
This program is designed for advanced practice providers working in breast surgery as well as any advanced practice providers who are interested in expanding their knowledge on breast care. The lectures will provide information on relevant topics for those managing patients, including genetics, neoadjuvant therapies, adjuvant therapies, and survivorship.
Criteria for Participation:
This course is intended for ASBrS Affiliate Members. Nonmember advanced practice providers may contact registration@breastsurgeons.org to request access.
Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Discuss key concepts related to risk assessment, breast infection, and endocrine side effects
- Understand the basics of breast imaging
- Implement guidelines and recommendations for diet, exercise, and sexual health for the survivorship patient
