ASBrS Call for Survey Proposals

The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) is excited to announce its Fall 2024 Call for Survey Proposals. This initiative invites all members and research teams to submit proposals for surveys aimed at advancing the field of breast surgery and improving patient care.

This opportunity provides a platform for clinicians, researchers, and medical professionals to explore critical topics and trends within breast surgery, focusing on areas such as surgical techniques, patient outcomes, oncological advancements, and the challenges faced by healthcare providers in this evolving field.

Submission Guidelines

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that:

• Address innovative topics that can impact clinical practice and patient care.
• Focus on under-researched areas or present unique perspectives on breast surgery.
• Promote collaboration among surgeons, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Align with ASBrS’s mission of enhancing the care and treatment of breast disease.

• Submission Deadline: October 15, 2024
• Review Process Begins: October 20, 2024
• Selected Proposals Announced: Fall 2024

How to Submit

All proposals should be submitted by emailing the proposal form to Brooke Bixler at bbixler@breastsurgeons.org.

Why Participate?

Selected surveys will receive support from the Society, including distribution to ASBrS members and assistance with data collection. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the growing body of knowledge in breast surgery and influence future practices. Selected survey proposals will be developed by the submitting authors in conjunction with the Survey Committee with a goal to publish the results in a peer reviewed journal.
