Call for Nominations to CGSOB-ABS

The Complex General Surgical Oncology Board (CGSOB) of the American Board of Surgery (ABS) is seeking a member-at-large, and we are encouraging our members to apply.

To request a letter of support from ASBrS, contact Laura Randel at lrandel@breastsurgeons.org no later than Friday, May 3, 2024, and include 1–2 paragraphs supporting your candidacy—in particular, your experience with Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and with the CGSO certification process as well as your CV. Applications will be reviewed by the ASBrS Executive Committee for consideration for ASBrS nomination.

Eligible applicants must be certified for at least 5 years by the American Board of Surgery and must be active in the practice of surgery. All questions specific to this position should be sent directly to the American Board of Surgery, addressed to Zachary McKenna at zmckenna@absurgery.org. The application deadline is Monday, May 13, 2024.
